Indexing, Metadata, and Digital Preservation

uses scholarly metadata, interoperability, persistent-identifier, author-identification, and digital-preservation services available through Open Journal Systems. These services are intended to improve the discoverability, accessibility, identification, exchange, and long-term availability of published content.

Important clarification: An enabled plugin indicates that the related technical facility is available in the journal system. It does not by itself confirm that the journal has been accepted by an external indexing database, that every article has been indexed, that a DOI has been registered successfully, or that a preservation deposit has been completed.

Discovery and Scholarly Metadata

Google Scholar Metadata Support Enabled in OJS Provides article-level scholarly metadata that supports discovery by Google Scholar when published pages and files meet its technical requirements and are crawled successfully.
Dublin Core Metadata Enabled in OJS Embeds standardized Dublin Core metadata in published article pages to support metadata harvesting and scholarly discovery.
DRIVER and OAI-PMH Interoperability Enabled in OJS Supports structured metadata exchange and harvesting through OAI-PMH and DRIVER-compatible metadata services.
ORCID Profile Integration Enabled in OJS Supports the identification and connection of authors and contributors through ORCID iDs, subject to profile authorization and correct metadata entry.

Persistent Identifiers and Metadata Registration

Crossref Manager Plugin enabled Supports the preparation and deposit of journal and article metadata to Crossref after valid membership or sponsorship credentials, a DOI prefix, and deposit settings have been configured.
DOI Display in Table of Contents Enabled in OJS Displays assigned DOI information in issue tables of contents and article listings when valid DOI records are available.

DOI status: The presence of the Crossref Manager and DOI display plugins does not by itself confirm DOI registration. A DOI should be described publicly as active only after its metadata deposit has succeeded and the DOI resolves correctly to the article landing page.

Digital Preservation

Service Status Function
PKP Preservation Network Plugin enabled; deposit status subject to verification Supports long-term preservation of eligible published content after the journal has completed the required agreement, registration, scheduling, and successful deposit process.

The journal will update this page when article indexing, DOI registration, preservation deposits, or acceptance by external indexing services can be verified through official records or working public links.
