Authors submitting manuscripts to Acca: Journal of Academic Culture, Curriculum, and Assessment must ensure that their work is original, academically sound, relevant to the journal’s focus and scope, and compliant with the journal’s ethical and formatting requirements.
Acca accepts original research articles, review articles, systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, conceptual and theoretical papers, policy analyses, program evaluations, case studies, research and development articles, perspectives, and practitioner-oriented scholarly papers.
Manuscripts may be written in English or Indonesian. Every manuscript must include an English title, abstract, and keywords. English-language manuscripts should consistently follow American English conventions.
Manuscripts must meet the following requirements:
The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word format.
The recommended length is 5,000–8,000 words, including tables, figures, notes, and references.
The manuscript must use A4 paper size.
Line spacing must be 1.15.
The official Acca manuscript template must be used.
The abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Authors must provide three to five keywords.
Citations and references must follow APA 7th edition.
Authors are encouraged to use Mendeley or Zotero.
DOI links should be included in references whenever available.
Original research articles should generally include:
Title
Abstract
Keywords
Introduction
Literature Review or Theoretical Framework, where applicable
Research Methods
Results
Discussion
Conclusion
Acknowledgments, where applicable
Funding Information, where applicable
Conflict of Interest Statement
Author Contribution Statement, where applicable
Data Availability Statement, where applicable

The structure may be adjusted for review articles, conceptual papers, policy analyses, program evaluations, case studies, and other manuscript types.
Acca applies a double-anonymous peer-review process. The main manuscript file must not contain author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgments, or other information that could reveal the authors’ identities.
Complete author information must be entered separately in the submission metadata.
All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
Submissions are screened using Turnitin. The maximum acceptable similarity level is 30%. The similarity percentage is not the sole basis for determining plagiarism; editors also assess the source, location, extent, pattern, and significance of matching material.
Research involving human participants, identifiable personal information, vulnerable groups, or sensitive data must comply with applicable ethical standards. Ethical approval and informed consent information must be reported where required.
Material use of generative artificial intelligence in drafting, translating, revising, coding, analyzing, or preparing a manuscript must be transparently disclosed. Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors.
Tables and figures must:
be numbered consecutively;
have clear titles or captions;
be cited in the manuscript text;
be readable and suitable for publication;
include source information where applicable; and
comply with copyright and licensing requirements.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce protected third-party materials.

Submission of a manuscript indicates that all authors have read and accepted the journal’s Focus and Scope, Peer Review Process, Publication Ethics, Plagiarism Policy, Open Access Policy, Copyright and License Policy, Privacy Statement, and publication fee provisions.
Before submitting the manuscript, authors must confirm that:
The manuscript is original and has not previously been published.
The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal or publisher.
The manuscript is relevant to the Focus and Scope of Acca.
All listed authors have reviewed and approved the manuscript.
The submission file is provided in Microsoft Word format.
The manuscript follows the official Acca manuscript template.
The manuscript is approximately 5,000–8,000 words.

The main manuscript file has been anonymized for double-anonymous peer review.
Author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgments, and other identifying information have been removed from the review file.

Every source cited in the manuscript appears in the reference list.

Permission has been obtained for copyrighted third-party materials where required.
Ethical approval and informed consent information are included where applicable.
Funding sources and conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
Any material use of generative artificial intelligence has been disclosed.
The manuscript does not contain plagiarism, fabricated data, fictitious references, duplicate publication, or manipulated similarity results.
Complete and accurate information for all authors has been entered in the submission system.
The authors agree to the journal’s publication ethics, peer-review, privacy, copyright, licensing, plagiarism, and publication fee policies.

Authors retain copyright in articles published by Acca: Journal of Academic Culture, Curriculum, and Assessment.
By submitting and publishing an article in Acca, authors grant the journal and its publisher, Malebbi Global Care, the right of first publication and authorize them to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, index, archive, and make the article publicly available.
Published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, others may copy, redistribute, adapt, transform, and build upon the published work for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided that:
appropriate credit is given to the author or authors;
Acca is acknowledged as the original place of publication;
a link to the original article is provided where possible;
a link to the CC BY 4.0 license is included; and
any changes are clearly indicated.
Authors may deposit and distribute the published version through institutional repositories, personal websites, academic networks, books, and other lawful platforms, provided that the original publication in Acca is acknowledged.
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted tables, figures, photographs, instruments, datasets, and other third-party materials.
By completing the submission, the authors confirm that:
the manuscript is original;
all authors have approved its submission;
the manuscript does not violate copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property rights;
permission has been obtained for protected third-party materials where required; and
all authors agree to this Copyright Notice and the CC BY 4.0 license.
The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
