Editorials may be published by invitation or at the discretion of the editorial team.
Acca accepts manuscripts written in English or Indonesian. Every manuscript must include an English title, abstract, and keywords. Manuscripts written in Indonesian may also include an Indonesian abstract.
English-language manuscripts should consistently follow American English conventions. Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are written in clear, accurate, and appropriate academic language.
Acca is published twice a year, in March and September.
The journal applies continuous publication within each active issue. Articles that have completed editorial screening, peer review, revision, copyediting, layout, and proofreading may be published immediately in the active issue without waiting for all articles in the issue to be completed.
All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine:
Manuscripts that pass the initial assessment are evaluated through a double-anonymous peer-review process. Authors and reviewers do not know each other’s identities during the review process.
Each manuscript should normally be evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant academic expertise. Reviewers assess the relevance, originality, theoretical basis, methodology, findings, discussion, contribution, organization, references, ethical compliance, and publication readiness of the manuscript.
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editor based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the quality of the revised manuscript, and compliance with the journal’s policies. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal.
Submitted manuscripts are screened using Turnitin before proceeding to the main editorial assessment. Bibliographies, properly formatted direct quotations, and minor matching phrases may be excluded when evaluating similarity.
A similarity score is not the sole basis for determining plagiarism. Editors evaluate the source, location, extent, pattern, and significance of matched material. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplicate publication, unattributed paraphrasing, fabricated references, or manipulation of similarity results may be rejected.
The maximum acceptable similarity level is: 30%
Acca does not charge a submission fee.
An Article Processing Charge may apply only to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication.
