About the Journal
Focus and Scope
EPIC: Journal of English Language Teaching, Pedagogy, Innovation, and Communication accepts scholarly articles, including empirical research, theoretical studies, and literature reviews in the field of English language education. The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- English Language Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
- Curriculum and Material Development in ELT
- Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Language Education
- Technology and Innovation in English Language Teaching
- Communication and Intercultural Studies in ELT
- Teacher Professional Development and Classroom Research
- Learner Psychology and Individual Differences in Language Learning
- English for Specific Purposes (ESP/EAP)
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are subject to a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of the published articles. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers.
This journal applies a double-blind peer review process, in which:
- Authors are not informed about the identity of the reviewers.
- Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors.
Reviewers are responsible for evaluating manuscripts based on:
- Originality and contribution to the field
- Methodological rigor
- Clarity of presentation
- Relevance to the journal’s scope
The reviewers provide constructive and formative feedback to help authors improve their work.
The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editors-in-Chief, in consultation with the editorial board, based on the reviewers’ recommendations.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All articles published in EPIC are accessible without subscription and can be read, downloaded, and shared freely.

Journal History
EPIC: Journal of English Language Teaching, Pedagogy, Innovation, and Communication is a peer-reviewed academic journal published biannually (June and December).
